Stonini manufactures fire rated, lightweight 3D wall panels from our factory in Sydney, NSW. Our panels are hand-cast from a mineral composite of gypsum, waterbased resin, fibreglass mesh and inert fillers — a composition that is non-combustible, water resistant and mould resistant.
We produce four distinct ranges — 3D Wall Panels, Concrete Wall Panels, Delta (marble-effect) Wall Panels, and Earth Range (rammed earth) Wall Panels — in over 30 profiles. Each panel is individually cast by hand, giving every piece a unique, natural texture that cannot be replicated by machine-pressed or injection-moulded products.
Key specifications:
Stonini wall panels are tested and certified to the highest fire safety standards for wall and ceiling linings under Australian building codes.
Group 1 Fire Rating (Interior)
Tested by AWTA Product Testing (NATA-accredited) in accordance with AS/NZS 3837:1998, assessed per AS 5637.1:2015. Result: Group Number 1 — the highest classification for wall and ceiling linings under the NCC. Average specific extinction area: 11.9 m²/kg (well under the 250 m²/kg smoke limit for unsprinklered buildings).
Test report: AWTA 20-002719, issued 16 June 2020 (download PDF)
Group 1 means Stonini panels are accepted in all locations within all building classes (Class 2–9), including fire-isolated exits, fire control rooms, public corridors, hospital patient care areas and theatre auditoriums — without requiring a sprinkler concession.
Non-Combustible (Exterior / AS 1530.1)
Tested by Ignis Labs Pty Ltd (NATA-accredited, lab no. 20314) in accordance with AS 1530.1:1994 — Combustibility test for materials. Result: Not deemed combustible. Zero seconds of sustained flaming across all five specimens. Mean mass loss: 8.30%.
Test certificate: IGNL-8282-01C I01 R00, issued 22 August 2024 (download PDF)
These certifications make Stonini suitable for commercial interiors, hospitality, healthcare, education, multi-residential corridors and facades where NCC fire compliance is required.
Tested by FORAY Laboratories (NATA Accreditation 1231) in accordance with ASTM D5116:2025 and assessed against Green Building Council of Australia criteria:
Compliant with Green Star Design & As Built V1.3 (Credits 13.1.2B & 13.2) and Green Star Interiors V1.3 (Credit 12.2).
Certificate: CETEC P25100008, issued 27 October 2025. Valid to 27 October 2030 (download PDF)
This makes Stonini panels suitable for projects targeting Green Star ratings and healthy indoor air quality certification.
Stonini architectural wall panels are specified by designers and architects across Australia for a wide range of applications.
Commercial & Hospitality: Hotel lobbies, restaurant interiors, bar fronts, RSL and club refurbishments, retail shop fit-outs, office reception areas, shopping centre tenancy refreshes. Group 1 fire rating eliminates compliance barriers in all commercial building classes.
Healthcare & Education: Hospital corridors, aged care facilities, school reception areas, university common spaces. Non-combustible rating and low VOC certification meet the stricter requirements for patient care areas and public buildings.
Residential: Feature walls, fireplace surrounds, bedroom accent walls, bathroom wet areas (water resistant), kitchen splashbacks, outdoor entertaining areas and pool surrounds.
Facade & Exterior Cladding: Non-combustible certification (AS 1530.1) and water resistant, UV-stable composition make Stonini suitable for exterior facade applications where combustible cladding materials are prohibited.
3D Wall Panels — Deep, sculpted profiles that emulate natural stone. Ideal for interior and exterior feature walls. Available in traditional 1800 × 600 mm format and floor-to-ceiling 2700 × 600 mm panels for seamless, large-scale installations.
Concrete Wall Panels — Lightweight alternative to real concrete. Achieves raw industrial, pitted, board-formed or polished concrete aesthetic without the weight, cracking or expansion issues of actual concrete. Installed in Country Road stores, PwC offices, Flow Athletic and other commercial fit-outs.
Delta Wall Panels — Flat-surfaced panels with hand-manipulated colour and pattern that emulate marble, limestone, travertine, sandstone and granite. No erosion, no cracking, no deterioration.
Earth Range Wall Panels — Rammed earth textures for a natural, grounded aesthetic. Pigment is mixed within the material, so colour is consistent through the full panel thickness — if chipped, damage is less visible than surface-painted alternatives.
Stonini is an Australian wall panel manufacturer based in St Marys, Sydney, NSW. All panels are designed, hand-cast and finished locally. Australian manufacturing means shorter lead times, custom orders, and the ability to match exact colour and texture specifications.
We supply architectural wall panels across Australia — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Canberra and regional centres — and export through distributors in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
